Job description: Human Resources Generalist NL/BE (growing to HR Manager NL/BE)
You report directly to the VP Legal/HR/Compliance EMEA
You operate as an integral part of the EMEA organization’s human resources department, you will play a key role in supporting local management in our offices & warehouses at Lelystad & Eindhoven (91 employees), and also our Belgium office (19 employees). Working closely with local managers, you will have to develop and implement effective human resources strategies and solutions
Your role: is to advise and support managers in all human resources matters, including recruitment, training, remuneration, performance management, conflict management issues. You are also responsible for implementing human resources policies and procedures within the company and participates in Group HR transformation projects.
Your missions:
- Take charge of personnel administration (employment contracts (Blue and white collar), temporary work, training, absence management, etc.).
- Verification and transmission of payroll data and checking of pay slips in an outsourced payroll context.
- Ensuring that resources (recruitment, anticipation of replacements, organisation, training) match the needs required to develop the business.
- Improve the upstream phases of the recruitment process (sourcing, HR communication, social media, etc.).
- Take part in the entire recruitment process (advertising, pre-qualification, interviews, contract negotiations, etc.) for new employees.
- Ensuring that employees are properly integrated, particularly by ensuring that the onboarding process runs smoothly (before, during and after integration).
- Implementing the talent management policy: identifying potential, reviewing talent and ensuring that succession plans are consistent.
- Management of disciplinary and legal files.
- Implement the HR policy within the different sites, and deploy the company’s HR processes: performance management, salary reviews, etc.
- Promote and ensure compliance with the company’s equality and diversity policies.
- Actively contribute to the continuous improvement of HR activities (recruitment process, onboarding, training, payroll, etc.).
- Ensure regular HR reporting to the VP Legal/HR/ Compliance by setting up HR indicators and defining
You have:
- a master’s degree in human resources/or equivalent with at least 3 years’ experience in human resources
- Excellent understanding of human resources management practices (Talent acquisition/management, Compensation & benefits, Performance management, Absenteeism…)
- Strong people skills (communication, negotiation, problem solving, analytical and team working skills, …)
- a ‘can-do’ mentality, likes to work on a operational level but you understand the strategy
- Administrative skills and you are , process minded and well organized
- In-depth knowledge of laws and regulations relating to human resources,
- Knowledge of Dutch/Belgian payroll is a plus
- You are fluent in local language and English (verbal/writing)
What will you get in return?
- A salary between € 3500 – 5500 gross per month, based on a full-time work week (40 hours) and depending on experience;

- The opportunity to work flexibly and partly from home (with a healthy mix of at least 3 days in the office and 2 days from home).
- He/She has to travel regularly to Eindhoven & Lelystad (approximately once every fortnight or once a week)
- 25 vacation days on a full-time basis;
- Travel allowance of € 0.23 per km, as from 10 km one way, but with a maximum of 270 € per month;
- The opportunity after 1 year of employment to lease a bicycle, regardless of whether you use it for commuting;
